Packaging

United Petfood Producers are able to offer a wide scale of packaging possibilities because of the installation of a modern packaging line.

Types of packaging:

The packaging material, as well as the weight of the bag, is very diverse.

Packaging materials
Different packaging materials such as transparent plastic, printed plastic bags, paper bags, laminated bags, etc. can be processed.  The bags are provided with a handle and/or zip lock.
Bag sizes
Bags from 500 g up to 20 kg are bagged.  Little containers (approx. 200 kg), big bags (approx. 800 kg) or bulk containers can be filled.

Types of sealing:

The bags can be sealed in a variety of ways (examples:  sealing, pinching and sewing).

Stacking methods:

The pallets are stacked in various different ways.  The manipulator of the palletiser handles each bag individually with unique simple stacking methods being offered for every type of pallet.  Each pallet is wrapped in plastic but is first fitted with a bottom insert sheet (protecting the bottom bags), various intermediate insert sheets (ensuring the stability of the pallet) and a top sheet (protection from dust).

Storage depot:

In 2010 an extra storage depot of 1000 m² was taken into occupation.  The storage space provides the opportunity of offering even faster logistical solutions to our clients.
